Red-Velvet Cupcakes und Moulin Rouge

Dear Chef John, if you ever read this, I sincerely apologize for not taking the paper off!
But I made them for a movie night (Moulin Rouge) and they looked so much like tiny little burlesque skirts that I just couldn' t resist.

But usually I am an honest savage - I always serve them with paper ;-)
